


Check-in Times and Procedures for Fall 2006
Students may check in and move into their living space according to the following schedule. Students should report to their residence hall or apartment to check in.
First-year, transfer, and other new students - Friday August 18, 2006 - Please note this is also the first day of Orientation.
Returning and re-admitted students - Monday August 21 starting at 1:00pm
In order to be able to check into his or her living space, each student must complete the following steps:
1. Be registered for 12 or more hours of classes.
2. Submit a completed Health Data Card (this was included in the Transition notebook for new students. If you wish to complete the health card ahead of time, you can download one here.
3. Sign the Room Inventory Form. this form will be completed for you prior to your arrival by a Residence Life staff member.
4. Pay a $30 hall activity fee. Check or cash. Must be paid at the residence hall or apartment.
Residence Life Forms
Students may download the following forms to use appropriately. Each form must be turned into Residence Life Office for review and approval before any actions can be taken by the students.
Housing Contract - New Students / Download Form
This form is for new students, students being re-admitted to the University, or transfer stuents. Students desiring to live on campus must complete this form and submit it to the Admissions office.
Loft Agreement / Download Form
Students desiring to use a loft or elevated bed in a residential space must complete this agreement. Please submit forms to the Graduate Resident Director (GRD) for each building. The loft will be inspected and approved by the GRD for each building.
Health Data Card / Download Form
This form must be completed by each residential student. A Health Data Card is collected when the student checks into the residence hall. Incoming students may wish to print this form out and bring it with them to expedite the check-in process.
Room Change Form / Download Form
Students desire to change their room assignment must complete this form and turn it into the Residence Life office for approval. The move must be approved before the student may change rooms. Approval is not garuanteed.
